The Shelron Group, parent company of ActiveShopper.com, stated February 3 that site traffic during the fourth quarter of 2005 rose to nearly 12 million page views for both the ActiveShopper.com site and other versions of the site. The site’s growing popularity continued in January, which saw 5.7 million page views. Chairman and CEO of the Shelron Group, Eliron Yaron expects that the first quarter of 2006 will set a new quarterly page views record.
The Shelron Group also announced that its discussions to enter into a licensing agreement with NeoMedia Technologies, a major force in IT consulting, are on track. Both companies signed their letter of intent to work together during the first quarter of 2005. The agreement will give Shelron global rights to both use and license NeoMedia’s technology PaperClick ® and also patents in the creation of an ActiveShopper ™ technology for mobile devices.
